The Fuezes needed a new pair of torsion springs to replace their old set. It’s always nice when garage door owners keep track of spring usage and act promptly.
A good pair of torsion springs can last up to ten years, assuming one or two uses per day. This set made it up to nine, which is pretty good value! As always we had the customer remove his car and then closed and disconnected the garage door before getting to work. The replacement springs got some fresh lubrication and anti-rust treatment for the spindles to go with them.
